This section allows you to search through databases, directories and electronic documents available at CRID and other disaster-related organizations.

Database and directory queries use search engines developed by the Latin American Health Sciences Information Center (BIREME) and the Regional Disaster Information Center (CRID).

The Virtual Disaster Library (VDL) is an initiative of PAHO´s Disaster Preparedness Program. Its objective is to provide access to a wide collection of electronic documents on public health and reduction of disasters and complex emergencies.

CRID disseminates this information for non-profit purposes in order to make it available to researchers, educators, decision-makers and the general public for the promotion of a culture of disaster prevention in Latin America and the Caribbean.
